Dear Coach:
Once again Coastal Bend Coaches Association is proud to host the Annual Coastal Bend Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Games. This year the game will be held at Corpus Christi Miller High School on Saturday, May 17, 2025, with girls tipping off at 12:00 noon & the boys tipping off at 2:00pm. All players will wear either their school's home/away uniform for the game.
Currently, 50 plus high schools have been invited to recommend from one to three outstanding senior boys and girls basketball players to participate. Practice gyms and practice times will be determined once we have picked our teams.
All-Star Coaches for this year's big school girls division will be James McMinn from Flour Bluff HS and Amy Crain from Cuero HS. All-Star Coaches for this year's small school girls division will be Addison Bohler from Refugio HS and Wayne Carter from George West HS.
All-Star Coaches for this year's big school boys division will be Jordan Gonzalez from Beeville HS and Tres Garcia from Tuloso-Midway HS. All-Star Coaches for this year's small school boys division will be Chantze Avery from West Oso HS and Jesse Cadena from Agua Dulce HS. Practice facilities and times will be set by the All-Star coaches.
Please review and complete the enclosed nomination form and enclose a brief biography of the student. The student and his parent must sign a waiver not to hold the CBCA, the School or any of the coaches responsible for any injuries.
All net proceeds received from the basketball games will go into the CBCA Scholarship Fund which has the primary objective of awarding college scholarships to coaches’ children.
